A recent risk that I have taken is trying a new sport. I felt scared and intimidated in the beginning because it was something out of my comfort zone which scared me even more. I decided to join wrestling because I knew it would teach me strength both physically and mentally and I knew that I lacked both. The day of my first practice, I went with the mindset of thinking that wrestling was just another sport and i could get thought it just like I would with recent sport iI played in the past. Unfortunetly I was wrong, on my first practice 8 felt like I was going to die and collapse at any second. I refused to give up, Wrestling was a sport commonly played by only guys and very few girls . I wanted to be part of the few girls that could succeed in a guys sport. I returned the next day, my body was sore in places I didn't even knew could hurt. Yet I was still there ready to learn and practice. I consider wrestling a good sport that I'm glad I tried. It was one of the biggest challenges I have faced yet and I'm happy for it because It has made me a better person. I now like taking chances because I know that even though I may not succeed, I can have he ability to say that I tried.
