An important question that I wish college applications would ask would be something that we wish we could change about our lives. It is a question that everyone usually has an answer to yet we are rarely asked. Most people have something they wish could change, but they know they are unable to. Yet we all still stop and think how are lives could be different if one little thing could be changed. I think college applications are seen as stressful by most students so seeing a question that we can all relate to would be a break from all the hard work we have done throughout our years of education.Personally, If I could change one thing about my life it would be having a relationship with my biological father. I have never met him so I've never have a male role in my life to look up to. I at least would wish to know who he is or what he looks like because even though I look a lot like my mom, her and I have opposite personalities so it doesn't take a genious to know that half of my genes belong to him. It feels strange to know their is a man out there who is my dad, yet he doesn't know he has a daughter. When someone asks me if it bothers me to not have a dad I always say I'm fine with it and it doesn't bother me but it really does. I'm not sure if I will ever try to look for him because I am also scare that I will find him and he will already have a whole family so I wouldn't want to just show up and tell him I'm his daughter and cause a whole controversy that can just be prevented.
I tried to drown my sorrows, but the bastards learned how to swim, and now I am overwhelmed by this decent and good feeling. Frida Kahlo
