8. If you were to describe yourself using a quotation, what would that quotation be? After you have chosen a quote, then write a bit about how it relates to you and reveals what kind of person you are.

If I were to describe myself using a quotation it would probably be "Live for today and not tomorrow,Live for the Now and whats here,Stop living for what maybe or what may never come,Live for the day already here" I like this quote because it teaches to only focus on whats happening at the moment and not to worry about things that havent happened yet or the future because you never know when you'll stop living life.I'm the kind of person that always worries about my next step or what will happen tomorrow but I've been thought to enjoy the moment and not worry about what will happen next.

9. Given the authority to establish a holiday, what would you choose to commemorate? Why? What would the celebration look like?

If I had the authority to establish a holiday I would choose to commemorate ourselves. It would be a huge event where everyone goes out and learns to appreciate their body, their life. Humans are good at stating their imperfections and what is wrong in their life but it is rare when they admire the beauty they have and the blessings they receive by life just by being alive and having someplace to call a home. This day would be for everyone to just sit a think about not only themselves but the beauty that we have in the world. Many wouldn't call it a holiday but if we have a day where people go out and wear green, then we should also have a day for ourselves where we can learn to appreciate ourselves.

10. What is the best advice you've ever received? Explain.

The best advice that I have ever received is to always have patience in everything I do. I'm a very impatient person and I always wan everything given to me when I ask therefore I never learned how to wait. I've been told that patience is a gift that only a few people can have because most do not know how to handle it. Everyday I try having patience with everything I do and I try to not blame others or hold grudges against anyone. Its hard because even though people say I always get everything I want I know it is not true because they only see the exterior things. I try to have patience in the things I truly want to achieve and hope my temper doesn't get the best of me.

11. Ask and answer the one important question that a university won't ask you, but you wish they would.

An important question that I wish college applications would ask would be something that we wish we could change about our lives. It is a question that everyone usually has an answer to yet we are rarely asked. Most people have something they wish could change, but they know they are unable to. Yet we all still stop and think how are lives could be different if one little thing could be changed. I think college applications are seen as stressful by most students so seeing a question that we can all relate to would be a break from all the hard work we have done throughout our years of education.Personally, If I could change one thing about my life it would be having a relationship with my biological father. I have never met him so I've never have a male role in my life to look up to. I at least would wish to know who he is or what he looks like because even though I look a lot like my mom, her and I have opposite personalities so it doesn't take a genious to know that half of my genes belong to him. It feels strange to know their is a man out there who is my dad, yet he doesn't know he has a daughter. When someone asks me if it bothers me to not have a dad I always say I'm fine with it and it doesn't bother me but it really does. I'm  not sure if I will ever try to look for him because I am also scare that I will find him and he will already have a whole family so I wouldn't want to just show up and tell him I'm his daughter and cause a whole controversy that can just be prevented.

12. Your life is a movie. Describe the first 15 minutes.

It is dark. It is crowded. Everyone is saying hello and how much they like my shirt. I smile politley and make conversation. I'm surrounded by everyone, and I know they're all having the time of their lives. I feel accomplished and take a drink to take me by 15 minutes of dancing I don't want to do. I dance, I smile and dont want to be here anymore. Unfortunetly there is no where to go. My mom is probably still awake with her boyfriend and I'd rather be with these people whom I don't really know than be next to them while they try to make awkward conversation and jokes that don't even make sense. So I dance some more. I look for my best friend but she is nowhere to be seen. I feel empty, alone. I am happy, with friends surrounding everywhere I look. I grab my phone to Call someone, But whom could I call? Everyone is here and the people I wish were here, Have no interest in talking to a person who probably made them spend many days wondering what they can do to make me happy. But they don't know their attempts are hopeless. I'm not happy and I wont be. So I put my phone away and call my mom. She doesn't answer so I'm hoping she's finally sleeping and I can go home now. Its about 3 am and it feels like Alaska outside. My friends offer me a ride but I refuse. I like walking by myself. I like walking at night. That way their is a risk of something happening to me. Something terrible that would make me cry. When I walk I think about things I otherwise wouldn't think about. I'm shivering and have about 5 more blocks left. I cross the street with out Checking for passing cars. Because what is the use anyway. We all die so what is the use in spending my time preventing it.

13. Write a letter to your future college roommate introducing yourself and your background.

Dear New Roommate,

I am a talkative girl who likes to look into the positive side of things. I was born and raised in Chula Vista California with a single mother who worked by day and night to support me. Years later, my mom married a guy and they soon a boy who became my brother. I can be quite at times, and loud when I feel safe. I'm the person who wont shutup when watching a movie because I always have a comment and a question for everything. I'm not an animal person unless it is the common dog. Everyone says that I am a very picky person but I like to think that I like things my way. I do however have to admit that I am a picky eater because I don't like to eat most common types of food. Overall, I like to get along with everyone as long as I am treated with respect. I hope we are able to get along and this year will be one we will both make the best of
Sincerely,
Frida Kahlo

14. Please describe your reactions/ideas to the following quote: "He does not possess wealth, it possesses him."

The quote, "He does not posses wealth, It posseses him." Means that some people can get so influenced by wealth and the pursuit of money that it can take over their lives. They say money can't buy happiness, But it can solve alot of problems. Throughout peoples  lives money becomes a necessity and some people would do anything to get more money even if it means stepping over other peoples lives. "He does not posses wealth, It possesses him " Speaks to us and delivers a message that is true in common society. There is corruption everywhere because of others who only want more money even if they do not need it. They say that a person is more likely to become president than to become a millionaire. That is why society is so infatuated in achieving their dream of getting money rather than not caring like the people who easily obtain it. Many people let having the idea of getting money get the best of them. So it is best to set our priorities straight and make sure we never let go of our true self.
